Hurricane Harvey Relief

As many of our readers know, Hurricane Harvey hit Houston last week, and as of this writing, Texas is still reeling from the devastation.

Many houses and apartment complexes have been flooded, some completely destroyed.  People had to evacuate their homes after their area was inundated with flood waters.  Some had their lives uprooted, many lost everything but their lives.  Over 5,000 homeless people are living in temporary shelters in Texas.

God has told us that He “will supply all your needs according to the glory of His riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19), and Mission 24 wants to be a conduit of God’s blessing.

If you have a need, please feel free to contact Mission 24 through our Facebook page (http://facebook.com/mission24) or use the “contact us” link on this website.  Many of our church members and friends have already helped people clean up the debris of ruined homes, provided food and other supplies and helped in many other ways.  We are a small church, but we serve a big God!

If you would like to give to the community, especially in this time of great need, you can use the “give” link, and mark it as being for victims of Hurricane Harvey.  You can also use the “contact us” page if you prefer.  You can also use the “Contact Us” or Facebook page if you want to give in other ways, such as your time in rebuilding, food, blanketsWe truly appreciate all contributions.

What you could do most of all is to please spend some time in your knees for our church, our community, our city, our state and our country.  Prayer is what moves God’s hand.  Here’s your chance to go on far-reaching errands for Christ without leaving your armchair!

Thank you, and may God’s love and grace be evident in everything you do!
